Season 2025: Departures from June 7th to October 4th
Planning the highlight of your holiday in Norway? Start by booking your boat tickets on Gjende.
We have daily departures from June 7th through September 21st. Departures to and from Gjendebu end on September 14th. We operate daily to Memurubu until September 22nd. After that, departures are currently scheduled for September 26th, 27th, and 28th, as well as October 3rd and 4th. Additional departures in the autumn will be announced on our website. Welcome!
Parking
Parking is not included in the boat ticket, and it is advisable to reserve a spot in the long-term parking lot before traveling with Gjendebåtene. Book your parking here.

The Captain Welcomes You – No Waiting Time
Planning to travel with the Gjende boats in the 2025 season? Remember to bring a printout or screenshot of your boat ticket so that we can scan the ticket code against a white background.
Luggage Transport
We can transport the luggage you don’t need to carry on your mountain hike to your destination. All you need to do is purchase a luggage tag either on the boat or at the cabins. Read more about luggage transport here.
Prices per item:
- Gjendesheim – Memurubu: NOK 70 (or vice versa)
- Memurubu – Gjendebu: NOK 70 (or vice versa)
- Gjendesheim – Gjendebu: NOK 80 (or vice versa)
Discount on your Return Ticket
If you book a return ticket on the same day as your departure with the Gjende boat, you’ll receive a discount on the total amount. First, book all tickets at full price, and the discount will be automatically applied when you reach the shopping cart/checkout for payment.
Ticket Prices:
- Gjendesheim – Memurubu round trip on the same day: NOK 260 (children NOK 130)
- All other round-trip options with departure on the same day: NOK 320 (children NOK 160)
